Lenovo has launched Tuesday new Lenovo A7000 smartphone in India at a price of Rs 8,999.It will be available in Onyx Black and Pearl White colours with 4G/ LTE budget.

The "mass flagship" smartphone - as Lenovo is calling it - will be available from April 15 exclusively in Flipkart.

Lenovo said users would have a 4-hour window to complete their transaction. The registrations for the first flash sale, which is scheduled for April 15, begin today at 2pm.

The phone, which has a 5.5-inch (1280x720 display) . The handset flaunts a 8 MP main shooter and a 5 MP selfie shooter at the front. The stand out feature of this device is the Dolby Atmos sound that churns out a fuller multimedia experience.When listened to on headphones, the sound from the smartphone feels like it’s coming from all the directions. The company claims that the device can optimize all audio content to deliver the Atmos experience.

Speaking about the promised Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Lenovo A6000, the company said the Q2 release time-frame may be delayed.It added it would not roll out the update until it was completely bug-free. It did not provide a revised release time-frame however.
